GO, GO FLAMINGO
I liked the shapes presented with the flamingo in the water and the neon colour is nice for this subject but I struggled with what to do for a background. Then I remembered the Tiki look, like when my parents would go out dining and dancing at the Waldorf on Hastings. So I went down to Coolite on Hastings where they still have large bamboo poles. When I first heard about Coolite it was from a guy in our high school who got his pole vaulting pole there. God I’m old!
