FACE PLANT

I like the face profile and even thought of doing one of those is it a Grecian urn or two faces with the noses touching. I may still do that but this one started with the profile and then, “O.K., what next”. So I added some diminishing profiles and then colour and lastly progressively leaning toward the ground, or the face plant. This was one of the neon sculptures that broke after being pumped and mounted and taken home. There can be hidden weaknesses in the glass that only come out later. In fairness to glass tubing in general, usually the hidden weakness relates to craftsman failure.
